My Home App

My role: (contract) Lead Designer • Clayton Digital

Motion & 3D

Clayton's UX team had done the hard work of gathering customer data and defining the product direction. What they needed was someone who could move fast, absorb their internal thinking quickly, and turn it into something leadership could actually see and fund.
That's where I came in.
Working in daily lockstep with the team I skipped traditional wireframes and went straight to lo-fi concepts to find the direction fast. Once we had a clear focal point I built out user flows, a Figma design library, and interactive prototypes covering both the pre-sales and post-sales customer experience.
In the final two weeks I leaned on my motion background to bring it to life. I delivered a high-fidelity animation of the full My Home ecosystem along with two additional stakeholder videos. Seeing the vision in motion was what closed the deal.
The result was an immediate executive greenlight and full budget approval to move into development.

The team had the ideas, but they didn't have the path or the visual style yet. I jumped in as a contractor to figure out the flow and functionality using quick, lo-fi components. This kept us on track with a short timeline and helped us uncover what the app was still missing. Once we had the direction set, I created a library to manage the app and make sure their future projects would be easy to build, too.

After showing the app and an ad for it to the executive team, we got the thumbs-up to move forward. The VPs saw the need for it in the Clayton process right away, and we’re now just a few months out from the official launch.

ABOUT

Jason Reyna
Lead Product & Visual Designer

At Everfi I lead product design and motion for a SaaS learning platform serving millions of K-12 and adult learners through partners like Google, the NFL, and Intuit. I built the design system that cut production timelines by 33%, recruited and directed an animation team that transformed static courseware into motion-rich interactive experiences, and led the mobile-first redesign of a flagship product that reversed a decline in renewals.

Before that I spent seven years as Digital Design Director at Tombras leading a multidisciplinary team across product, UX, and digital for clients including Freightliner, Lodge Cast Iron, and Coca-Cola. Lodge saw a 112% increase in online sales.

I still open Figma every day. I work alongside my team with AI tools like Cursor and Claude to move faster without losing the craft.

ABOUT

Jason Reyna

I've spent 15 years making digital things people actually feel.

My career spans immersive ARG campaigns for Disney and Sony, award-winning relaunches that drove real revenue, and interactive course experiences used by millions of people every day. I live in the space where visual craft, motion, and interactivity converge — and I stay hands-on because that's where the real problems get solved.

Whether I'm directing a creative team, building a design system, or getting into the motion work myself, I'm focused on one thing: experiences that look and feel like someone actually cared.
